By law: 5.6 weeks a year (28 days on a 5-day week, the most there is), and your employer may count bank holidays in it; pro rata for part-time and part-year work (Working Time Regulations 1998). Your contract often gives more.
How it works: the planner looks at every bank holiday and weekend in 2025 and picks the combination of breaks that gives you the most days off in total for the leave you have. Leave days are only spent on working days.
